Storytelling has been such a part of my life that I can't remember exactly when it began. I do however, remember warm summer nights sitting on our lush green grass with cool, sweaty coke-cola bottles resting in the galvanized bucket packed with ice and the un-harnessed imagination of our young minds trying to top the last story told.

      Our lawn was the center of entertainment in our little town. There were no movie theaters or roller skating rinks, just a huge, wonderful town swimming pool, bicycles, and a huge mulberry tree where we sat high in the limbs, eating berries until our fingers and starched white shirts became purple from the berry juice.

      The only drugstore (now called pharmacies) is where we tied our horses to the parking meters, and sitting at the cool marbled counter,we ordered cherry Cokes, Phosphates and Green Rivers. And life was good.

      And now raising my three grandchildren, life is still good. It has brought the fun of storytelling back. I truly hope these fun stories will make you laugh and at the same time look at life as an adventure. And maybe, just maybe, these stories will let you know that there are many different ways at looking and working out dreams and goals.

      And remember, all things are possible, if you try.
